The focus is on building legal awareness, strengthening confidence, and supporting individuals to engage more effectively with legal professionals and formal systems.
V.I.D.A. also offers court and procedural support for individuals attending proceedings without representation. This may include assistance with organising documents, taking notes, and helping individuals understand the structure and expectations of hearings. Such support aligns with the role commonly recognised as a McKenzie Friend, while remaining strictly a non-representative and non-advisory service.
